Satellites have been using by the mankind to gather different information like weather reports, space reports and other valuable information. But many nations have started using satellite as warfare and they use to gather information for the enemy nation.
US and USSR were the only two competitors in the space world. Since long time, they have been searching many new techniques which are effective in destroying the enemies’ satellites. They have been investing a huge amount of money in research works and developing anti-satellite. Sometimes they use to destroy their own satellite if their malfunction in their satellites.
An anti-satellite either completely destroys the satellite or makes some malfunctions in the satellite. Ballistic and anti-ballistic missiles are the new technologies to destroy satellites and other orbital-based weapon system. Recently, US destroyed their own satellite by using an anti-satellite. Now China is on the race of making anti-satellite like ballistic missile.
